Sparex needed a solution that could cope with its 35,000+ product lines in multiple languages and currencies along with the ability to have customer specific pricing, make/model cross-reference as well as displaying stock levels.
Sparex uses Pindar's CMS to manage their paper catalogue production process from data through to layout. Curvica built a solution that interfaces with this data to create a global solution for Sparex as well as increasing ROI of the Pindar CMS.

MalpasOnline.co.uk is a new retail parts website launched by Malpas Tractors of Wrexham. Malpas Tractors are a leading Agricultural dealership as well as a significant dealer for Sparex Ltd.
The challenge for Curvica was to develop a website that enables Malpas to operate a retail website selling Sparex parts without having to manage the huge amounts of product and pricing information that come with over 25,000 SKUs and over half a million lines of cross reference data.
The result is MalpasOnline.co.uk where Curvica has licensed the product information from Sparex and produced a data aggregator that automatically mirrors the data on the Sparex website. All pricing is defined by Malpas and tracks the Sparex website on all prices, promotions and clearance items as well as stock.
This is made possible because Curvica developed the eCommerce Platform on which the Sparex website was built and continue to manage the website on a daily basis. Leveraging this platform and the experience gained from working in this market sector enabled Curvica to deliver a solution for Malpas Tractors quickly and at a fraction of the investment usually required for a solution of this scale and complexity.
